But what exactly is your response to the fact that iOS as a platform has more users - therefore is more enticing to developers? And that Android is just a free OS that's modified and put on to phone handsets, mostly HORRID handsets, and many that can't even run an app? So this kid is a straight A student and is very bright. But he argues with his parents a lot and, like any other teenager, is disrespectful. Should any of these factors influence a parent's decision? On one hand, he has proven to be responsible, saving money and getting good grades. On the other hand, he's moody and often shuts himself off from the rest of the family.

Yes you are certainly charging way too little. My basic sites start at $500 and go up from there depending on what the client wants. Usually I charge it by the job and in some cases, there will be add on's and I usually charge $50-$75 per hour for that work. I have a few NPO's and for them I start my quotes to them at $300 for the job.
From the sounds of this guy you're dealing with, I would just move on and forget him. Finish whatever you've started and end it there.

The ends don't justify the means torture is wrong period.
Would you support forcible medical testing on people if that forcible testing might save hundreds of thousands of lives in the future?
I tend to disagree with the saying of "ends don't justify the means".
As for your last example, medical testing is a completely different scenario. In the torture case, you are doing it to someone who is part of the terrorist/criminal activity. They are already part of a criminal act, they already broke the law and they are planning in breaking it again to kill/damage more people.
People with medical conditions haven't done anything wrong.

I have found a fun site for those of us that like some of the old time radio programs. http://radiolovers.com/ There is a bunch of stuff there in MP3 ctrl click lets you down load it On the left there is a link for all shows I found this to be a faster way to find what I wanted. Hope that some of you out there have fun with it

You may not have been but I was perfectly able to make adult decisions about my life before I was 18years old.
At 18 the law recognised that I should be capable of behaving like an adult. It is the job of parents (and society) to make sure that there children are ready to be adults by 18years, which means they should've been preparing them for these sort of decisions for years. A parent shouldn't treat a son like a child until they're 18years and then from their 18th birthday treat them as an adult.

Then a couple of years later when I was maybe 16/17years old I walked in on them at around 11pm in the living room. Mum sat in the arm-chair with a leg over each arm and Dad kneeling going down on her.

Embarrassed? Yes, all of us. Disgusted? No, couldn�t see a reason to be. Ever sat in that chair again? No ***king way! Eww.
I am still thinking that I was found under a cabbage leaf here. :D

Hi,
I�ve read a lot about capturing dv avi from tape with iMovie will suck.
I already captured these files a while ago before I got my mbp.
If I load them onto the mbp and use them in iMovie and export to DVD, will it still suck?
