good work Sherman_tribiani, i am watching this group of "highly skilled job stealer� for sometime. they merely talk and do nothing. most of them r scared to do anything. they r scared of u & me. they r not scared when they steal our jobs and we will scare the hell out these ba$tard$ to make them do in their pants before we kick them out. gheen told me about this group and he also said that not to waste my time on these job stealers as they r weak and incapable of doing anything, other than stealing our jobs and outsourcing.

In EB2 I, is 2003 all clear? I have not seen anybody (except one who had Dec 03 ...sorry forgot the user id). So is it safe to assume that 2004 is the oldest.

I believe you can safely go to the cops and report this abuse. As someone has said above, immigration and civil matters are handled separately. You can (and probably) should get an advice from a lawyer about any implications to your GC journey here, just so that you are prepared for it. But letting this person go unchecked is not something you can afford.
Many corporations do not have enough resources to find out whether or not they are hiring legal employees. Even the republican candidates for presidency discussed this on stage in their debates that a person cannot check legal employability of everyone they hire. Many of us hire and pay incash for yard work, house maids etc. without checking if they are allowed to work in US. It's mainly the employee's responsibility to make sure they are allowed to legally work in US. That's why EVerify is voluntary and not a compulsion yet.

So, immigrationvoice would be adding funds to the tune of 175K every 2 months and also $25 every 2 months is not a big deal for most of us.
This way we are guranteed atleast some portions of our funds. Even if $25 is a lot of money, $10 can also be acceptible if they are paying a recurring payment. To sustain this campaign and maintain our presence in this space we need funds.
Let us know, who are ready to sign up for this campaign?

What is the need of any sublabor demand ( per direction of this thread?) if they just retain 140 date ? There would no need in first place for any one to use it.
The intent of a subst labor was to save the company time and money for obtaining another labor for the same position in case the original beneficiary drops out. Remember, labor was a company petition, not employee petition. The companies still would have wanted it even if it does not retain its original PD.
The basic thrust behind the idea of changing the rules of PD allocation for subst cases is to push forward PD to july 07 level. Most of the subst happened in that month. we are not asking subst labor folks to quit the queue, just asking them to move behind.
The intent of a subst labor was to save the company time and money for obtaining another labor for the same position in case the original beneficiary drops out. Remember, labor was a company petition, not employee petition. The companies still would have wanted it even if it does not retain its original PD.

It`s great news for all the people who can file & who have already filed on july2nd.
Thanks IV for being so persistant. You guys have my support.
Not to undermine the current development , it is good news for tons of people including me, but the true victory will be when retrogression ends & all the backlog centers are cleared. All skilled workers (& sometimes their stay at home spouses)don`t have to wait for yearsssssss to get a GC.
& no before I get brickbats thrown at me I am not being pessimistic or a spoilt sport, I just feel that this gc mess should stop & skilled ppl shouldn`t be harressed by having to put their lives on hold for such long periods.

We could have got 1000 from each of the IV member, if July Fiasco hadn't happened.
Most I spoke to are content with EAD/AP.
Even if 1000 of our ~41000 members contribute 100 dollars each, we can host two more events like this.
It makes sense to ask help from outside of the organization only when our internal resources are all exhausted. However, sadly, most of us do not want to even contribute for the good cause. :o

I have filed for H1B under the Masters quota but i will be graduating only in May and gave an official document from my University that i would be graduating. Somebody i know had also done a similar thing but he got a h1B rejection mail from USCIS yesterday. This has made me really upset. Is anyone there who has filed with a similar document and has received H1B? He had filed it witha consultant while mine is a highly reputed company. Will that make a difference?

I am reviving this old thread because it was created by me, and it is highly relevant now. I predicted last month that EB2-I will become "U" soon, and it has happened (almost).
The quick way out of this mess is to ask CIS to move subst labor folks back in the queue. That will ensure that both EB3-I and EB2-I will move forward to July 07. Most of the labor substitution took place in that month itself.
This is an admin fix and does not require any new legislature. This is an idea whose time has come.

I've seen dozens of people exploiting sub-labor and got their gc's. There are thousand's of them jumped the queue for last time in July '07. I do agree with the person who started this thread.
